Dr. Gragossian is a dual board certified physician specializing in Emergency Medicine & Critical Care Medicine. But her journey as a patient may be more interesting than her life as a physician. She writes in her blog, A Change of Heart, “On December 21, 2018, I almost died.” She required an urgent heart transplant after contracting a viral condition earlier that year that led her to discover she had familial dilated cardiomyopathy.
