Public Confidence in Proposed Changes to U.S. Vaccine Policy

The following questions ask about your level of agreement or confidence regarding proposed
changes to U.S. vaccine policy. There are no right or wrong answers. Please answer based on
your understanding and personal views.

I am generally confident in the U.S. government’s ability to set safe and effective vaccine
policies.
I believe current U.S. vaccine policies prioritize public health over political or financial interests.
I trust that vaccine recommendations in the U.S. are based on high-quality scientific
evidence.
I believe it is reasonable to re-evaluate U.S. vaccine policies as new scientific evidence
becomes available.
I am open to changes in vaccine policy if they improve transparency and public trust.
I feel that questioning or reviewing vaccine policy should be allowed without being
dismissed or stigmatized.
Some countries, such as Denmark, use a vaccine schedule with fewer total doses than the U.S. I believe the U.S. should study and consider these alternative schedules.
Comparing U.S. vaccine schedules to those used in other developed countries is a reasonable way to improve policy decisions.
If another country has similar or better public health outcomes with fewer vaccines, I believethe U.S. should examine why.
I support requiring more rigorous or longer-term safety studies before approving new vaccines.
I believe vaccine safety studies should more often include comparisons to unvaccinated or differently vaccinated groups, when ethically possible.
Increasing the transparency of clinical trial data would increase my trust in vaccine
recommendations.
I believe current vaccine safety testing standards are sufficient and do not need major changes.
I support efforts associated with RFK Jr. to re-evaluate existing vaccine policies and
approval processes.
I believe RFK Jr.’s approach to vaccine policy would increase transparency and public confidence.
I am concerned that changes proposed by RFK Jr. could reduce vaccine uptake in ways that harm public health.
Overall, I believe changes proposed by RFK Jr. to vaccine policy are more likely to help than harm the public.
Changes that increase public discussion and review of vaccine policy would increase my personal confidence in vaccines.
I would feel more confident in vaccine recommendations if policy decisions were
explained more clearly to the public.
I believe the current debate around vaccine policy reform is healthy for a democratic society.
How familiar are you with current U.S. vaccine policies?

How would you describe your general view of vaccines?

Glucagon-Like Peptide–Based Therapies and Longevity: Clinical Implications from Emerging Evidence

Glucagon-like peptide–based therapies are increasingly used for weight management and glycemic control, but their potential impact on long-term survival remains uncertain. The clinical question addressed in this report is whether treatment with glucagon-like peptide receptor agonists is associated with reductions in all-cause mortality and age-related morbidity beyond their established metabolic effects. This question matters because these agents are now prescribed across broad patient populations, including individuals without diabetes, and long-term exposure may influence cardiovascular, oncologic, and neurodegenerative outcomes. Understanding whether...
